St. Patsy Baptist Academy
Mission Partners in Thika, Kenya, Africa
Westview Baptist Church is helping to sponsor the St. Patsy Baptist Academy located on the campus of Greater Love Baptist Church in Thika, Kenya, Africa. This school started with a vision to see kids in Kenya receive a quality education rooted in scripture so the cycle of poverty can be broken and they can come to know the love of God through Jesus. The school now has more than 200 students enrolled! The pastor of the church and principal of the school is Jared Oboyno. Our liaison with the church and school in Kenya is Patsy Day.
It takes a little over $1,000 per month to operate the school. This includes the salaries for the principal, head teacher, three other teachers, a cook, and food to feed the students breakfast and lunch each day.
The Taclobs
Mission Partners in the Philippines
Atan, Rachel, Hannah, Kara, Leah, and Baby Taclob serve as missionaries in the Philippines with GFA Missions. They are working to make disciples through worship, Bible studies, and Bible Clubs.

The Fox’s
Mission Partners in New Zealand
Stephen and Liz Fox serve as missionaries in Australia and New Zealand. The heart of our ministry is to see the Gospel spread and help encourage the local church.
The Fox's Ministry revolves around furthering the local church. They do this by assisting in church planting, development of leaders, and church planting in New Zealand. Stephen's focus will be on developing spiritual leaders and discipleship. Liz's focal points will be in women discipleship, hosting, and homemaking. While serving in Australia the Fox's will be building relationships with both Australian and New Zealand nationals with the goal of church planting in New Zealand.
Fuel Ministry
Each week, Westview Baptist Church provides food to children in need through a partnership with local schools. We purchase the food, bag the food up, and deliver it to the school. This food is given out to students who would not normally have meals available to them over the weekend.
Good News Club
Good News Club is all about sharing the gospel with children after school at their schools. Through this ministry, we seek to evangelize to the lost children of South Cheatham County and reach their families with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Westview Community Garden
Through our Westview Community Garden, we desire to feed the whole person by providing food for their physical bodies and by building relationships to share the Bread of Life so they may never hunger again.
Ministry Partnerships through giving to the Cooperative Program
By giving to the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention, Westview Baptist Church is able to join with like-minded churches for the sake of missions. By cooperating together, we can reach more people with the good news of Jesus Christ. Through our giving to the Cooperative Program, we support missions globally and throughout North America.
In addition to funding missions, Cooperative Program giving is also used to help equip future pastors for ministry, replant churches, provide disaster relief in North America, and more.
